Floyd Shivambu's Resignation Shakes Economic Freedom Fighters as He Joins MK
Floyd Shivambu, deputy leader and founding member of South Africa's Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF), has resigned to join uMkhonto we Sizwe (MK). His departure comes amid concerns of a mass exodus from the EFF, which he co-founded with Julius Malema in 2013. Shivambu's shift to MK, now the third-largest party after recent elections, is a significant blow to the EFF.
