Prosecution Calls for Harsh Sentences in MP George Thuo's Murder Case
The prosecution has urged the Milimani High Court to impose the maximum sentence on six individuals convicted of killing former Juja MP George Thuo. Thuo's death in 2013 was due to pesticide poisoning at a restaurant in Thika Town. The prosecution argues the convicted showed no remorse and emphasize statements from Thuo's family supporting a harsh penalty. Sentencing is scheduled for June 21, 2024.
